Brief summaries of some characters in DBZ.

Son-Goten
Goten is 6 years old and is the son of Goku and brother of Gohan. He and Trunks both learned how to go super sayain at their young ages and were best friends. He can be very emotional at times, like when he learned his brother died. He is also very strong and was thought to be stronger than Gohan at a time. When he entered The World Martail Arts Tournament with Trunks in the childern's division, he obviously ended up going up against Trunks in the final round. He lost even though he gave it his best and was furious because he though Trunks cheated. He also fought Buu with Trunks but was stopped early in the fight so he could live. |
Trunks Briefs
Trunks has a long story line. His first appearence was in the first episode of the new Freiza saga. Trunks defeated Freiza and King Kold before Goku landed on Earth. He told Goku he was the son of Vegeta and Bulma and gave Goku the medicine for the heart disease he would get later on in the future. When Trunks was 7 however, he surprised everyone with his early Super Sayain powers. Him and Goten were best friends and fought Buu together. He always thinks he is better than Goten because of his one year advantage but, Goten puts up a good fight with his powers.

Vegeta
I geuss you could say, Vegeta is the psycho path of them all. He is and was bent on defeating Goku ever since Goku beat him in the Freiza saga. After Goku became a Super Sajin Vegeta got jelous so, he started a family with Bulma. They had a kid named Trunks (See above) and, Vegeta never spent any time with him. He trained harder than ever up in space after settling down and, turned into a Super Sayain there. He was so proud of himself he thought he could take on any challenge and, the scary thing is, he probally could. Anyways, when Goku was fighting the Androids Dr.Gero made, Goku's heart kinda died on him. Then, Vegeta came out of no where and killed one of the Androids. Then the seris went on from there. The final stage Vegeta makes it to is Super Sajin 4 in GT. |
Son-Goku
Let me just say that Goku is a klutz! He went through so many stages like SSJ to SSJ4 but he still has his funny moments. He is married to Chi Chi and had Gohan and Goten with her. They look EXACTLY like him too. He is the strongest of everyone and, everyone wants to surpass him. All the vilans you'll ever see in all the DBZ seris, all of those villans are all probably after Goku. He went Super Sajin first and knows the best moves. He was trained by King Kai. He probally has defeated most of the villans in all the series too.

Son-Gohan
Gohan is Goku's son and was spioled a lot.... oh well. Anyways, Gohan had a great power hidden within him when he was little. That power got stronger until Gohan finally turned Super Sajin. He went to go fight Cell in the Cell Games. When no one could defeat Cell, Gohan stepped in and went all out, ended up turning Super Sajin 2, and killing Cell (With the help of Vegeta.....). So when he gets older he decides to drop fighting and go to school. In my opinion, that's stupid. |
Piccolo
Well first of all, Piccolo is a speceis called the Nameks. He is from the planet Namek. In the beginning, him and Goku were rivals but, when Goku's evil brother Raditz came to destroy Earth (which Piccolo was living on when he didn't know he was a Namek), Piccolo teamed up with Goku to beat Raditz and save Earth. After that they would be rivals once more. But what was not planned was that, Goku would die during the process of defeating Raditz. Seeing how Goku's son Gohan hit Raditz and cracked his Sajin armor, Piccolo discovered Gohan's hidden power and took him into the wilderness to train him to become stronger. As he continued to train Gohan he began to care for him and figured out that Gohan was his only friend. From that point on Piccolo sayed with the Z- team because Gohan showed him a way out of his misery.

Android 17
Android 17 was a normal human but Dr. Gero made him into an Android with his sister 18 (NOT GIRLFREIND!). They were created to destroy all of Dr.Gero's enemy's and were supossed to only listen to him but, the first time he let them out they went hey wire and destroyed everything but Dr.Gero's enemy's. So he was forced to put them back. After a while he tested them out again (BAKA!!) and 17 kicked his head right off his shoulders! So now they were loose in present and future. After Cell absorbed both Androids and became perfect, and Trunks destoyed both Androids of the future, and Gohan beat Cell, and Cell chocked up 18, 17 went on with his normal life. Being a lumberjack! Being the nice person he is, 17 helped Goku defeat Buu by giving him some energy to make a Spirit Bomb. Then, the 17 Dr.Gero made later on again met with 17 and they fused together and made Super 17! After a missunderstanding, 17 killed Krillen ( who 18 was married to), and made 18 very mad! 17 wouldn't hurt his own sister so she beat him up alone! Well, he has a long time line now doesn't he!? |
Android 18
Android 18 is not so sweet as she looks. After Cell died, Krillen wished the exsplosive bombs out of 17 and 18 so she could be happy with her brother. She thought was sweet of him and they hooked up! 7 years later, 18 popped out a kid and named it Marron. SHE IS SOOOOOO CUTE! She also enters the Worlds Martail Arts Tournament with everyone and is in the finals with Hercule (the one who saved us all from Cell!). She let Hercule get all the fame and glory but he had to pay her the prize money plus some more. But you know what happens after that.

Bulma Briefs
Bulma is a bit cranky at times. She has a lot of mood swings. In the beginging of Dragonball, she liked Yamcha. They were hooked up until the Android saga. Then Bulma saw Vegeta get hurt and nursed him back to health. Then....... yeah...... you get it. She was the only person that wasn't scared of him. Bulma and Vegeta never really fully loved each other. Vegeta would train with his son Trunks not paying any attention to Bulma. Plus, Vegeta never told Bulma he loved her but, she knew. Anyways, Bulma has known Goku longer than anyone. She met him when he was 12. Bulma had to go through a lot too. |

Chi-Chi
Chi-Chi always wants Gohan to study for school even though he really didn't go to it until he was 18. In Dragonball, Chi-Chi set up a wedding for her and Goku but Goku forgot and Chi-Chi kinda made him get married to her. There's not much to say about her either. So that's it.
